Wiki - wacki

As mentioned in earlier posts, I'm a visual learner. Make it intuitive AND pretty and I'll be your RSS slave. The wikis I've looked at are dry, unexciting, and pretty much a collection of lists - many of them have a Craig's List look to them. The ability to interact, share and update info is the attraction but the format is boring. I can't see me creating a wiki.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but it doesn't look as though this exercise directed you to look at Wikipedia, the biggest (and first, I believe) wiki of them all. I think you'll find more visually appealing content there.

True, we were directed toward library wikis. I certainly do use Wikipedia and find it's format and structure similiar to World Book which has always been my favorite encyclopedia. However, it is not particularly visually appealing and I don't browse through it - I use it to answer a question and then leave it.

Oh, OK...I tend to find myself spending hours browsing through Wikipedia entries on various topics I find interesting. I guess we have different tastes in sites.
